Shades of Autumn: A Family Celebration of the Fall

All ages entertainment, apples, and children's crafts will highlight Tower Hill Botanic Garden's Shades of Autumn, an annual celebration of the harvest season. The Garden will be turned into a virtual farmland--complete with farm animals, and beautiful displays of garden produce and a farmer's market, and taste-testing tours (at 2pm each day) of the antique and heirloom apple orchard--with 119 varieties of pre-20th Century apples.

Create Your Own Bonsai Workshop

If you like the idea of having a plant in miniature but have no idea of how it can be done then this is the workshop for you. Just about any plant can become a bonsai. Our Tsugawa Bonsai staff and experienced members of Tsugawa Bonsai Group will be on hand to show how the process begins. Workshop includes all materials necessary to create a bonsai. Please come early to pick out your supplies. Class is limited to 10 participants, please register ahead.
